Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 12-hour days, with every other weekend and holiday required if needed.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with current medical-surgical experience to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment and will float to any medical-surgical unit as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care and assessments in a medical-surgical setting.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and document patient progress while maintaining accurate records.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and treatment plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of current medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Telemetry experience is required.
• Completion of a Basic Dysrhythmia course is strongly required.
• Massachusetts RN license must be uploaded with profile.
• Active certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are required.
• Meditech Expanse experience is highly preferred.
• Must have a personal vehicle for transportation.
