Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse for our Progressive Care Unit. This unit provides care for a 20-bed inpatient overflow setting with mixed levels of care, including medical surgical and step-down patients. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring safety through effective monitoring and intervention.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to both medical surgical and step-down patients.
• Monitor telemetry patients and interpret cardiac rhythms.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) for documentation and tracking patient data.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive care environment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of North Carolina.
• Telemetry competency and progressive care experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
