Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Critical Care Registered Nurse with at least two years of ICU experience. The ideal candidate will work in a critical care float pool and provide care to adult patients. Experience in a teaching hospital and at a Trauma Level I facility is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care to critically ill patients in various ICU settings.
• Manage complex patient care and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Utilize advanced clinical skills and critical thinking in patient assessments and interventions.
• Oversee patient ratios, which may range from 1:1 to 3:1.
• Monitor and manage patient conditions utilizing EPIC charting system.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current PA or Compact nursing license in hand.
• 2 years of ICU experience required.
• Experience in Critical Care Float Pool preferred.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Experience with the EPIC charting system.
• Must have diverse experience in critical care nursing.
