This is a 13-week contract position.

- Auto Offers - ICU Float Every other weekend, Only 5 days of RTO total, if 5 days are taken consecutively, 1 week will be added to the end of contract. Candidates will not have to work the day of the holidays but must be available to work the days before and after the holidays; Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day.

Schedule

AM Shift (07:00 – 19:30) - 3 × 12 hr shifts, totaling 36 hrs/week.

Job Description

The ICU Registered Nurse (RN) will float to all ICUs, step-down units, IMCU, and ED for ICU holds/borders, potentially including Women’s and Family when necessary. The RN will handle patient care in the ICU settings and will receive orientation specific to the role. Nurses may be reassigned mid-shift as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assess, implement, and evaluate patient care under the direction of licensed physicians.
• Collaborate with patients, family members, and healthcare teams to ensure individualized care.
• Direct nursing support staff in patient care while adhering to nursing standards and policies.
• Maintain patient ratios no greater than 1:3 across various units.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Required).
• Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, including at least 1 year in ICU (No new grads).
• Current PA Registered Nurse License (Required).
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (Required).
• TNCC certification (Preferred).
