Registered Nurse - Critical Care Unit

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00). Every 3rd weekend requirement. Floating may be required based on unit needs.

Job Description

Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Critical Care Unit, where you'll provide expert care and support for patients undergoing neurosurgery, vascular surgery, thoracic surgery, orthopedic interventions, liver transplants, and Level 1 trauma cases. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong clinical skills and a commitment to high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Management of acute and complex patient cases, including post-operative care.
• Administration of medications and monitoring vital signs.
• Utilization of advanced equipment and techniques for patient monitoring and intervention.
• Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Documentation of patient care and adherence to hospital protocols using the EPIC charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of experience in a critical care environment.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required; TNCC preferred.
• Active Pennsylvania or Compact RN license is required at the time of submission.
• Previous charge experience is preferred.
