Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - OB/GYN Specialty

Day shift: 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with experience in the OB/GYN unit. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience and a current New York license. In this role, you will provide essential patient care and support in various OB/GYN procedures and patient interactions.

Responsibilities

• Vital sign monitoring and medication reconciliation
• Patient health assessments and history taking
• Assisting with OB/GYN procedures, including Pap smears and vaginal specimen collection
• Performing clean catch urine sample instructions
• Telephone triage and follow-up phone calls
• Interpreting laboratory results and managing pharmacy calls for patient refills
• Setting up sterile procedure trays

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1-2 years of experience in an OB/GYN setting
• Valid New York State LPN license
• Experience with any charting system (training on Paragon will be provided)
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations are required (exemptions allowed)
