Registered Nurse - ICU/CCU

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Coronary Care Unit (CCU) nursing. The ideal candidate will be proficient in using EPIC systems and will have a strong background in critical care nursing. This position requires flexibility to float to other units as needed, including Med Surg and Telemetry.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU and CCU.
• Utilize EPIC systems for patient documentation and navigation.
• Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to care plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Provide support and education to patients and their families regarding care plans and recovery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 5 years of RN experience, including 3 years of ICU/CCU experience.
• Current New York RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications must be current.
• Travel nursing experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs is required.

Schedule

This position involves 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week, with floating flexibility across units as required.
