Travel MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM - 3/12's, with 6 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule.

Job Description

The MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse is accountable for providing care to patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures. This position demands critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering safe patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care using the Nursing Process.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and scientific judgment in patient assessment and intervention.
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education.
• Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
• Provide direction and supervision for assigned personnel in delivering patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Arizona RN license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of MS/Telemetry nursing experience.
• Experience with Cerner EMR is required.
