MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse

Job Description

The MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures. The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care. This role requires the maintenance of clinical competencies through continuing education, delegation of patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the available staff, and providing direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.

Schedule

This position requires night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a commitment of three 12-hour shifts per week. It includes a requirement to work six weekend shifts per six-week schedule.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Arizona RN license
• BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification
• 2+ years of experience in a telemetry or medical-surgical setting
• Previous experience with Cerner EMR is required
