MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position with a night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, working three 12-hour shifts per week.

Job Description

The MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for providing patient care by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures. The role requires critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the planning and delivery of safe patient care. The nurse will maintain clinical competencies through continuing education, delegate care priorities based on staff education and experience, and provide direction and supervision to personnel delivering patient care.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the Nursing Process to deliver safe and effective care to patients.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and scientific judgment in all aspects of patient care.
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and training.
• Delegate patient care tasks effectively based on the team's qualifications.
• Provide supervision and guidance to nursing staff and assist with care delivery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar clinical setting.
• Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred.
