MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse

Job Description

The MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures. The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for the safe delivery of care; maintains clinical competencies through continuing education; delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available; provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.

Schedule

This is a night shift position, scheduled from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, working three 12-hour shifts per week, including six weekends over a six-week schedule.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Arizona Nursing License
• BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in MS/Telemetry nursing
• Cerner EMR experience is required

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care utilizing the nursing process.
• Ensure safe delivery of care by maintaining clinical competencies.
• Delegate patient care priorities appropriately.
• Supervise and direct assigned personnel in delivering patient care.
• Float between departments and facilities as required.
