Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit

Schedule

This position requires a night shift from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM.

Job Description

The Progressive Care Unit is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide exceptional patient care. The unit consists of 44 beds and a dynamic team of healthcare professionals committed to delivering high-quality service.

Responsibilities

• Conduct neuro and spinal assessments.
• Perform C-Collar and TLSO brace placements.
• Administer blood transfusions and manage IV infusions.
• Assist with feeding tube placements and other necessary interventions.
• Utilize equipment including IV pumps, PCA pumps, and patient lifts.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
• Neuro and Trauma Care experience is preferred.
