Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care Unit. The Progressive Care Unit is a vital part of patient care, providing specialized treatment and monitoring for patients requiring advanced nursing interventions.

Responsibilities

• Perform neuro and spinal checks, C-Collar placement, and TLSO braces.
• Manage chest tubes, PCA pumps, IV infusions, lumbar drains, and feeding tube placements.
• Administer blood transfusions as per protocols.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of North Carolina.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Neuro and trauma care experience is preferred.
