Registered Nurse - Acute Medical Unit

Shift: 12-hour Nights, 7 PM - 7:30 AM. Schedule may vary.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Acute Medical Unit. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a similar specialty and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Acute Medical Unit.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health management and treatment plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent nursing experience in an acute care setting.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• NIHSS certification is preferred.
