Registered Nurse (RN) - Acute Neuro Med Surg

This position offers a 12-hour night shift schedule from 7 PM to 7 AM, with varying days.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the Acute Neuro Med Surg unit. The RN will support the nursing team in managing patient care for a total of 7 additional overflow beds on the Neuro Unit, ensuring compliance with clinical protocols and standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor patient health and communicate any changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the Acute Neuro Med Surg specialty.
• Current AHA BLS certification is required.
• AHA ACLS certification is preferred.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
