LPN Medical Surgical - Night Shift

Shift hours: 3x12 Hour, 19:00 - 07:00 (Night shift)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled LPN for a Medical Surgical unit. The ideal candidate will have acute care experience and will be responsible for providing patient care under the supervision of an RN.

Responsibilities

• Manage own patient assignments with RN support.
• Monitor vital signs, pain assessments, and intake/output.
• Administer medications via various routes, including oral, IM, SQ, and NG/G-tube.
• Implement isolation precautions and utilize physical restraints as needed.
• Perform telemetry monitoring and 12-lead EKGs.
• Provide wound care and assist with bathing and mouth care.
• Insert Foley catheters and collect clean catch urine samples.
• Communicate patient status changes to RN/MD.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active New York Single State LPN license required (NY is not Compact).
• BLS certification required.
• Must have acute care experience within the last 2 years.
• EPIC charting experience is a hard requirement.
