Day 3x12-Hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00). May require one night shift within the contract as needed.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Services team. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic nursing, with a requirement to cover on-call shifts as needed. This position will involve working closely with a variety of surgical teams and will require floating between like units.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the operating room setting, ensuring safety and adherence to protocols.
• Assist with various surgical procedures, including trauma and orthopedic surgeries.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to emergencies in accordance with established protocols.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in on-call rotations and float to other units as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in acute care nursing, with a focus on surgical services.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Valid CA RN license required.
• Experience with Epic charting is required.
