Adult Respiratory Therapist - 3x12-Hour Shifts

Schedule

Will work 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with holidays and every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Adult Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a dynamic role at our facility. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality respiratory care for adult patients, including those in critical care settings. Candidates must be prepared to work with complex cardiopulmonary patients and must be confident in their skills and decision-making capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and implement respiratory care plans for adult patients.
• Administer therapies as prescribed, including mechanical ventilation and ECMO.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.
• Monitor and document patient progress and changes in condition.
• Ensure compliance with standards of care and facility protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of critical care experience as an RRT.
• Valid NBRC RRT certification required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Current South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider license must be obtained prior to the start date.
