Job Description

The Inpatient Rehabilitation Specialist will be responsible for providing ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients recovering from severe injuries or illnesses. The role involves working closely with individuals who have experienced conditions such as stroke, brain injury, neurological disorders, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injuries.

The specialist will deliver customized and intense rehabilitation programs tailored to meet the individual needs of patients throughout their recovery journey. The focus will be on maximizing health, function, and quality of life through comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapy interventions to enhance patient recovery.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust programs as needed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitation processes and expectations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Applicants must possess relevant experience in rehabilitation settings and appropriate licensure or certifications consistent with the role.
