Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the ICU will provide comprehensive care to adult and geriatric patients with high acuity needs. The role requires the management of critical situations while using high-level nursing skills. This position is vital in ensuring patient safety and optimal patient outcomes in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer nursing care to critically ill patients.
• Monitor patient health and vital signs.
• Manage IV lines, telemetry, and bedside monitoring.
• Provide post-surgical care and electrolyte management.
• Assist with moderate sedation and chest tube management.
• Coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to plan and implement patient care.
• Respond to emergencies and changes in patient conditions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
