Day Shift: 4x10-Hour (10:00 AM - 8:00 PM)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various ultrasound procedures and the ability to work efficiently in a community hospital setting. Responsibilities will include performing basic ultrasound procedures on pediatric to adult patients, as well as common invasive procedures such as thoracentesis and paracentesis.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound procedures including OB, abdominal, DVT, carotids, and breast.
• Conduct thoracentesis and paracentesis procedures as required.
• Ensure quality patient care and safety during procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and charting as per the established protocols.
• Cooperate with interdisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1 year of experience in ultrasound technology, specifically in a community hospital setting.
• Valid New York State License (must be in hand to submit).
• Certifications: ARDMS and BLS required.
• EPIC charting system experience is a hard requirement.
• Preferred certifications: ARRT, Sonography, RDMS, RVT.
