CT Technologist - Night Shift

Schedule

This position offers a night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, working 7 days on followed by 7 days off.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

The CT Technologist is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services in a freestanding emergency room setting. This role requires proficiency in performing CT and X-ray examinations, including but not limited to CT of the head, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen, pelvis, and extremities, along with biopsy and drainage procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures with a focus on cross-sectional anatomy.
• Utilize and maintain imaging equipment, including Toshiba Aquillion 64 CT and GE X-ray units.
• Conduct fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, and OR imaging services.
• Administer contrast media as required and ensure compliance with departmental protocols.
• Collaborate with the Radiology team to provide high-quality patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ARRT registration and state licensure as a general radiographer.
• Minimum of 2 years of CT experience in an acute care setting.
• Experience with Canon/Toshiba CT systems is required.
• Knowledge of EMR systems, particularly MEDHOST EDIS and McKesson PACS.
