Job Description

The CT Technologist will be responsible for providing timely diagnostic imaging services to both inpatient and outpatient individuals under the direction of a Radiologist. The role involves executing a variety of CT scanning procedures and demonstrating proficiency with routine diagnostic CT protocols, including CT of the head, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen, pelvis, and extremities.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic radiographic procedures and fluoroscopy.
• Undertake portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services.
• Administer CT scanning procedures and assist in biopsy and drainage procedures.
• Understand processing of CT systems and conduct surgical/sterile procedures.
• Knowledge of contrast media and cross-sectional anatomy.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ARRT, MRT or TMB License required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Must be registered in Connecticut.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the field.
• Must adhere to dress code: Navy Blue scrubs.
