Job Description

The Acute Care Inpatient Oncology RN will provide comprehensive nursing care in a medical-surgical setting, focusing on acute care patients within the oncology specialty. The role requires a dedicated professional who is adept at managing complex patient conditions, ensuring safety and comfort in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to oncology patients in an acute care setting.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the oncology or medical-surgical nursing specialty.
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• NIHSS certification is preferred.
• Valid RN license required.
