Medical-Surgical / Telemetry Registered Nurse

Schedule / Shift

4x12-hour nights (7 PM - 7 AM), with every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical / Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. The selected candidate will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a fast-paced environment. The role requires expertise in telemetry, management, and interpretation of dysrhythmias.

Responsibilities

• Manage a patient ratio of 1:6 to 1:7.
• Administer medications and provide comprehensive nursing assessments.
• Float to like units with similar patient populations as needed.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to treatment plans.
• Ensure that all assigned modules and training are completed before the start date.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Med/Surg or Telemetry unit.
• Current South Carolina RN license or Compact license required prior to start.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Experience in telemetry and dysrhythmia management preferred.
