Ultrasound Technologist - Multispecialty

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift working 4x10-hour shifts from 07:00 to 17:30. On-call required from 5 PM to 8 AM Monday to Friday and 24 hours on weekends.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist with experience in various specialties, including general ultrasound, fetal ultrasound, OB, breast, transvaginal, vascular, echocardiogram (adult echo), contrast echo, and echo stress treadmill. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in multispecialty procedures and maintain high-quality patient care standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures, including but not limited to general, fetal, OB, breast, vascular, and echocardiograms.
• Maintain patient records and document results accurately using the Epic charting system.
• Work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team, assisting in the precepting of other clinicians as needed.
• Ensure adherence to safety and procedural standards while conducting ultrasound examinations.
• Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and meet certification requirements.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist in a multispecialty setting.
• Valid ARDMS, ARDMS RVT, CCI, or RDCSS certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Compact state license must be in hand at submission.
