Ultrasound Technician (Echo Tech) - Multispecialty

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift: 4x10-hour schedule (07:00 AM - 05:30 PM). On-call required from 5 PM to 8 AM on weekdays and 24 hours on weekends.

Job Description

The Ultrasound Technician will be responsible for conducting various ultrasound procedures. This role requires expertise in general ultrasound, fetal ultrasound, obstetric ultrasound, breast ultrasound, transvaginal, vascular ultrasound, echocardiogram, adult echo, contrast echo, and echo stress treadmill experiences.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations on patients to assist with diagnosis and treatment.
• Collaborate with physicians and technical staff to ensure high-quality imaging.
• Assist with the training and precepting of new clinicians.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures performed in the electronic charting system (Epic).
• Participate in on-call rotations as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• At least 1 year of experience in a multispecialty ultrasound role.
• Candidates must hold valid certifications: ARDMS, ARDMS RVT, BLS, CCI, CCI or RDC.
• Valid compact state license required upon submission.
