Job Description

The CT Technologist is a graduate of an accredited AMA school and is registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT). This role is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatients and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services.
• Demonstrate proficiency at routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures including CT of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of processing of CT system, surgical/sterile procedures, and studies with or without contrast media.
• Understand cross-sectional anatomy and assist in varied imaging requirements.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the field.
• ARRT certification required.
• BLS certification required.
