Job Description

The Labor & Delivery Unit of an acute care hospital is seeking a skilled Travel Registered Nurse to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong collaboration skills and the ability to provide exceptional patient care to both low and high-risk obstetric patients.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients during labor and delivery
• Perform and assist with procedures such as cerclages, versions, c-sections, and vaginal deliveries
• Monitor fetal status using GE fetal monitor systems
• Administer epidurals and provide care for unblocked/unepiduralized patients
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, midwives, and doulas

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1-year current acute care hospital Labor & Delivery experience
• Certifications: NRP, BLS, ACLS, EFM-C or AWHONN
• Experience with mom/baby couplet care is preferred
