Job Description

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Seasonal Travel RN for our Labor and Delivery unit. As a crucial member of our healthcare team, you will provide expert nursing care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery, ensuring the well-being of both mothers and newborns.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in labor and delivery settings.
• Perform assessments and monitor fetal well-being during labor.
• Assist in vaginal and cesarean deliveries, postpartum care, and other related procedures.
• Manage patient pain relief and comfort measures.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year current acute care hospital Labor and Delivery experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications.
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (FM) or AWHONN certification.
• Experience with Meditech is preferred.
• PACU and OR experience are advantageous.
