Job Description

The Rehabilitation Therapist will provide exceptional patient care to individuals recovering from strokes, brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations, multiple trauma, cancer, and complex orthopedic injuries, among other conditions. This role emphasizes improving patients' functional abilities and quality of life through a comprehensive treatment approach addressing physical, emotional, and psychological components.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate each patient’s movement patterns, strength, flexibility, and functional ability.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals and family members.
• Utilize specialized equipment and techniques to assist patients in their rehabilitation process.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to meet rehabilitation goals.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families throughout the recovery process.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current licensure as a Rehabilitation Therapist in the state of Missouri.
• Experience in inpatient rehabilitation settings preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
