Job Description

The Physical Therapist (PT) provides essential therapeutic services to help patients achieve optimal recovery and rehabilitation. This role emphasizes patient and employee safety, adhering to guidelines for care and workplace hazards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address discharge barriers.
• Manage individual, concurrent, and group treatment sessions effectively.
• Document patient care in compliance with state, federal, and organizational guidelines.
• Participate in student training programs and provide necessary supervision.
• Engage in professional development and advocacy activities.
• Maintain professional licensure and adhere to discipline-specific regulations.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and provide feedback for better outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current valid state license as a Physical Therapist.
• BLS Certification, required prior to the first shift.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the field.
• Previous inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred.
