Registered Nurse - Med/Tele - Nights

Assignment Duration

This is a 16-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shifts: 12-hour schedule from 7 PM to 7 AM. Options for 36 or 48 hours per week, including 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend. Must be available to work at least 1 holiday per contract.

Job Description

Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the West 7 Med/Tele Complex Care unit, which consists of 37 beds. The RN will be expected to demonstrate flexibility according to the facility’s schedule and may be asked to float to other units as needed. Charge nurse responsibilities may also be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a med/surg and telemetry setting.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to assess, plan, and implement patient care.
• Document patient information and care plans using EPIC charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in acute med/surg or telemetry nursing.
• 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.
• Active NY RN license is mandatory.
• AHA BLS certification is required.
