Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Telemetry

Assignment Duration

This is a 16-week contract position.

Schedule

NIGHTS - 12HR: 7P-7A. 36 and 48 hours available per week with 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend. Must work at least 1 holiday per contract.

Job Description

Join a dynamic nursing team in a 37-bed Med/Tele Complex Care unit, providing critical care to a diverse patient population. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in delivering patient-centered care and ensuring the highest standards of practice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established protocols and policies.
• Monitor patient vital signs and administer medications as required.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Coordinate and manage patient admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Assist with charge nurse responsibilities and float to other units as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1 year of recent experience in acute medical-surgical/telemetry nursing.
• 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.
• Active NY RN license.
• AHA BLS certification.
