Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Telemetry

This is a 16-week contract position.

Schedule

Nights - 12HR: 7PM - 7AM. 36 and 48 hours available per week, with 1 weekend shift required every week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Med/Surg Telemetry unit. The unit encompasses a total of 37 beds, providing care in a fast-paced environment. The selected candidate must be flexible and willing to float to other units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care in an acute care setting.
• Administer medications and monitor patient vitals.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient management.
• Maintain accurate patient records utilizing EPIC charting.
• Participate in charge nurse duties as required.
• Work one holiday during the contract period.

Required Experience

• 1 year recent experience in acute med/surg and telemetry.
• 2 years of U.S. work experience for non U.S. candidates.

Required Certifications

• Active New York RN license.
• AHA BLS certification.
