Schedule / Shift

Night shift, 3x12-hour schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Every other weekend and holiday availability required.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the MS/Tele (Medical Surgical/Telemetry) unit will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with a focus on cardiac monitoring and emergency response. This role includes the interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, as well as the use of Rapid Response and Code teams.

Responsibilities

• Administer IV therapy and conduct phlebotomy, ensuring proper peripheral line care and management.
• Conduct oxygen administration using nasal cannulas and oxygen tanks.
• Apply non-invasive airway management techniques and adhere to isolation precautions.
• Manage a patient workload ratio of 1:5.
• Support interdisciplinary collaboration with various healthcare teams.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active New York Single State RN license (not compact).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Epic charting experience is mandatory.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required.
