Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Telemetry

Assignment Duration

This is a 16-week contract position.

Schedule

Nights - 12HR shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. Options for 36 or 48 hours available per week, including one weekend shift per week or two weekend shifts every other weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Med/Surg Telemetry unit. The unit has 40 beds and provides care to a diverse patient population. The ideal candidate must be flexible with their schedule and willing to float to other units as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care in a fast-paced Med/Surg Telemetry environment.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and perform procedures as required.
• Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC charting software.
• Work as charge nurse as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in acute Med Surg/Telemetry nursing.
• 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.
• Active NY RN license.
• AHA BLS certification.
