ICU Registered Nurse

Schedule

This position requires a flexible schedule, including 12-hour shifts, days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Flexibility is essential as needs may change.

Job Description

The ICU Registered Nurse will provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients. Candidates must have Charge Nurse experience and be prepared to handle various responsibilities as required by the department.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to critically ill patients in an Intensive Care Unit setting.
• Perform assessments, administer medications, and monitor patient conditions.
• Lead and manage nursing staff during shifts as Charge Nurse.
• Assist in patient transfers and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Be prepared to float to other departments as necessary based on experience and competency.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of two years of recent ICU experience.
• Charge Nurse experience required.
• American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Conscious Sedation certification (can be obtained through facility, $187.50 fee).
