Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Skilled Nursing Facility

This position requires flexibility to work Days, Nights, and Weekends, including some holidays.

Job Description

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will collaborate with nursing staff, residents, families, and other departments within the Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) to deliver exceptional individualized care to our residents. The role includes the responsibility of potentially floating to other units as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Receive and provide reports on residents' conditions, ensuring clarity on care to be given.
• Conduct rounds on each resident and assess new admissions as well as residents who are ill, have fallen, or sustained injuries.
• Document assessments according to facility policy.
• Notify nursing staff of any changes in residents' conditions or immediate needs.
• Assist with direct patient care, ensuring that call lights are answered promptly.
• Foster positive working relationships with co-workers, residents, families, and physicians.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• MUST HAVE a valid California CNA License.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as a team player.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
