Outpatient Physical Therapist – Highline and South Lakewood

Job Description

The Outpatient Physical Therapist evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and physician direction. Responsibilities include the delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services and ensuring the design of effective treatment programs aimed at helping patients return to community activities. The role also involves educating patients, families, and coworkers while maintaining compliance with the organization’s Code of Conduct and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Develop appropriate treatment plans and goals to facilitate patient discharge.
• Document patient care clearly, concisely, and in compliance with guidelines.
• Participate in student programs, providing a positive learning environment.
• Engage in professional development through continuing education and self-study.
• Adhere to state practice acts and maintain professional licensure.
• Contribute to performance improvement initiatives within the organization.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• 6 months to 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
