Staff Physical Therapist

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional weekend coverage for inpatient/swing bed evaluations.

Job Description

The Staff Physical Therapist is responsible for the evaluation, consultation, and treatment of patients, as well as supervising and instructing professional and supportive staff, volunteers, and students in physical therapy-related patient care. This position is proactive in ensuring that patients are progressed to their prior level of function or maximum medical improvement as outlined in their Plan of Care.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough assessments on patients, including pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric populations.
• Maintain accurate records pertaining to patient care, including progress reports and daily notes.
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and ensure quality patient care.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, staff, and administration regarding patient progress and treatment plans.
• Adapt to various job situations while exercising independent action and judgment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Earned degree from an accredited program in Physical Therapy.
• Current Colorado Licensure as a Physical Therapist.
