Outpatient Physical Therapist

Job Description

The Outpatient Physical Therapist evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans in accordance with the patient's needs, goals, and physician direction. The role includes the delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for those assigned patients and ensuring the design of functional treatment programs allowing for effective return to community activities.

Responsibilities

• Completes a comprehensive evaluation of assigned patients.
• Utilizes clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals.
• Documents medical records clearly, concisely, accurately, and timely.
• Ensures care is provided under signed, valid physician orders and within insurance approval.
• Participates in student programs providing a positive learning environment.
• Actively pursues professional development through continuing education and self-study.
• Adheres to discipline-specific State Practice Act and maintains professional licensure.
• Demonstrates awareness of organizational performance improvement initiatives.

Schedule

Monday and Wednesday: 9:00 AM - 6:30 PM (30-minute lunch)
Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (30-minute lunch)

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an Accredited School (Required)
• 1+ Year of Outpatient Clinical Experience (Required)
• CPR Certification (Required)
• Active and applicable license for the state where work will be performed (Required)
• Strong new graduate PT candidates are welcome (Nice to have)
