Night shift from 19:00 to 07:00, with weekly guaranteed hours of 36.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality patient care in the orthopedic and postoperative medical/surgical unit. The RN will be responsible for managing patient care, conducting assessments, and implementing treatment plans for patients. The ideal candidate should be highly motivated with strong teamwork and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients postoperatively.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and care requirements.
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EHR.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in Tennessee.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a similar setting.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIH.
• Ability to float to other units as needed.
