Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shifts are scheduled as follows:

• Tuesdays and Thursdays: 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wednesdays and Fridays: 2:30 PM - 10:00 PM
• Saturdays: 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM

Weekend requirements are as needed, with on-call responsibilities of one 8.5-hour day per week and one 24-hour weekend every five weeks.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join our radiology team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to perform a full spectrum of MRI studies, efficiently handle 15 cases per day, and provide care in an inpatient, outpatient, and emergency room setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations and ensure high-quality images are produced.
• Prepare and administer contrast media as needed for MRI procedures.
• Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Document patient information and imaging procedures accurately using EPIC charting.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1.5 years of experience in MRI technology.
• Current certifications: BLS and ARRT required upon start.
• Experience with GE 450W and GE Signa Excite MRI scanners is preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and handle diverse patient populations.
