Job Description

The Outpatient Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating assigned patients and developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans in accordance with patient needs and physician direction. This role encompasses the delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for those assigned patients, aiming to design functional treatment programs that facilitate effective return to community activities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients using clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals.
• Document medical records in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner, adhering to state, federal, and clinic guidelines.
• Ensure care is provided under signed, valid physician orders and within insurance approval.
• Participate in the student program as assigned, providing a positive learning environment and appropriate supervision.
• Develop an individualized professional development plan, pursuing ongoing education and applying learned information to meet strategic organizational objectives.
• Maintain professional licensure in good standing and comply with continuing education requirements.
• Understand the organization’s performance improvement methodology to enhance service quality.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience.
• CPR Certification.
• Active applicable license in the state where work will be performed.

Schedule

This is a 5x8 hour shift position, starting on April 6, 2026. The position offers 10 to 12 patients per day, with 8 hours of work. Open to long-term assignment options.
