Acute Care Physical Therapist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00) from Tuesday to Saturday.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Acute Care Physical Therapist to provide exceptional patient care in a short-term acute care facility. The ideal candidate will have experience managing moderate to maximum assist patients and demonstrate confidence in medical diagnoses. You will be expected to handle varying evaluations throughout the day and participate in co-treatments. Experience with ventilated patients is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, design, and implement patient treatment plans.
• Provide therapy interventions to assist in patient recovery.
• Document patient progress and modify treatment plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care.
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans and home exercise programs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current license as a Physical Therapist in the state of Arizona.
• BLS Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in acute care settings.
• Preferred experience in managing patients with complex medical conditions.
