Physical Therapist - Acute Care

Day Shift: 4x10 hours (08:00 - 18:00) from Wednesday to Saturday.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist for an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment while managing a diverse patient population. The therapist will be responsible for conducting evaluations, creating treatment plans, and implementing therapy interventions to enhance patient recovery.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance patients' mobility and functional abilities.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and home exercises.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current license to practice physical therapy in Arizona.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
• AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card (or eligibility for a compact license).
