Schedule

This position primarily involves weekdays 7 AM - 7 PM and 11 AM - 11 PM with on-call responsibilities as needed by the unit.

Job Description

The Cardiac OR RNFA will assist in procedures involving chest exposure and closure, as well as independently perform vein harvesting for CABG surgeries. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in first assisting in DaVinci robotic cases and those who can scrub and circulate complex cardiac cases, including CABGs, structural heart cases, minimally invasive procedures, and heart failure cases. Experience in heart transplants is preferred.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of cardiac RNFA experience
• AHA BLS Certification
• AHA ACLS Certification
• NYS RN License
• CNOR Certification
• Telemetry experience

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
