Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel Position

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift options available: 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30) or 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30).

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) role is critical in providing high-quality patient care in a travel capacity. RNs are expected to possess strong clinical skills and experience in various surgical procedures. You will be directly involved in patient assessment, care planning, and implementation of patient care protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conducting patient assessments and monitoring vital signs.
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assisting in various surgical procedures including but not limited to thoracotomy, appendectomy, and laparoscopic-assisted cases.
• Managing and interpreting telemetry readings for patient care.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of charge experience preferred.
• Active RN license and certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required.
• Experience with telemetry and Allscripts preferred.
• Experience in various surgical procedures is essential.
