Schedule

Shift: Nights, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, floating and call required.

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Med/Surg RN for a travel position. The role involves providing general medical-surgical inpatient nursing care in a fast-paced environment, accommodating a patient ratio of 1:6. The RN will be responsible for the delivery of nursing services to patients, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Med/Surg unit.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient condition and report changes to appropriate personnel.
• Coordinate with healthcare team members to create and implement care plans.
• Participate in patient and family education.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience is required.
• ACLS & BLS certification is required.
• PALS certification is preferred.
• Current RN license valid in the state of New Mexico.
